Young Chevrolet Dealership is located at 650 North Main Street Layton Utah. The new addition consists of a two story showroom with sales offices. The Corporate offices are located on the second floor of the addition overlooking the showroom along with a panoramic view of the surrounding area. The design takes advantage of expansive views with window walls facing to the north east. A clear high efficient glazing was used to reduce solar gain in the early morning. The new addition was designed to fit within an inside corner of the existing building. A curved wall was utilized to take advantage of Main Street sight lines and to provide a clear view from the interior to the vehicle displays to the north and east. The curve also provides for a smooth transition from the existing building to the new building.
