Located on 600 North just below Main Street in Layton City this facility provides for full service auto-body repair and finish. With in the 12,000 square footprint the building houses a wash area, six vehicle work stations, on grade hydraulic vehicle lift, two automated frame racks, a four station exhaust filtered sanding prep bays, two fully isolated paint booths with paint mixing room, and a high bay rack parts storage area.
The facility also includes a locker room, break room and a file storage area above. This required the integration and coordination of a number of individual systems and isolated equipment including a compressor and vacuum room located on the outside of the building for sound control. The building provides computer integration for parts ordering, paint selection and frame rack adjustment. The new facility was integrated with an existing building which will be the auto body offices. A canopy between the new and existing building provides cover for drive-up auto body work estimates.
